I just bought a Supertop from Bestop for my 2000 TJ Wrangler. The doors are still open about 3/4 of an inch. The metal bar that is acting as a door surround is keeping the doors slightly ajar. The overall top installs basically like a YJ pre 97. My questions are: 1. Does the Sunrider top from Bestop come with the wide plastic door surrounds that I've seen on dealer tops or does it have the bar/rod type of door surround? And 2. What I'm looking for is a top similiar what the dealers sell, when you fold them down they fold with pleats and have the wide plastic door surrounds. Are they only available at the dealers?

Thanks in advance.

Sorry Rick,I don't have a camera. The part of the hardware goes from the windshield across the door top, then turns 90 degrees down along the door to the awaiting support bracket. The problem is the instruction call for the bracket to have the circular attaching point facing out, away from the body. When the door is closed, it hits against that part and will not close all the way. I have looked at possibly switching sides but this piece come from Bestop all join together with the over head frame that supports the top. It's like the engineers screwed up by an inch. I have had several people from our Jeep club look at it and they just scratch their heads. As if my TJ's body is a bit bigger than normal. I've packaged up the soft top and have returned it to BESTOP. I was asking in case I had made some mistake or a common fix was available. Now I just learned they sell cheap juke.
