My 87 YJ develops a strong gas smell inside the passenger compartment. Problem seems more pronounced after filling the tank with gas. I do not see any fuel leaks in the engine compartment. Any help is appreciated. Thx.

Hi Kruserl - you'll probably want to check to make sure your fuel tank vent lines aren't blocked or plugged. If they get plugged, the tank will build a bit of pressure and your interior may smell like gas.

Also, lay underneath your rig and check between the tank and skidplate, be sure it's not moist from fuel.
