BTW, a AMC 304 or 360 will bolt right into bell housing and being that a 304 was even a option in a CJ7 for a few years it would be easy to do with stock parts and keep you Jeep a Jeep. (if you were ever thinking of put a V8 in sometime, now would be a good time and 304 is a good mill for this.
