While my wife was returning from a trip from Baltimore,MD to pittsburgh,PA her air conditioner just quite blowing cold air and started blowing hot air. Can you tell me what the problem might be we know that the frieon is ok?

there can be all kinds of problems. the first thing is that if there is freon then look to see if the clutch on the ac compressor is engaging. if so is the blend door working if the blend door goes out it can get stuck on hot. i would double check to make sure that there is freon in the system and if there is then go ahead and make sure the clutch engages and make sure all the relays are working.
