Hi Joek - welcome to the forums!
Regarding your blinker... I'll bet that you have a burnt out flasher bulb on your Jeep. When a bulb goes out, the flasher double's it's speed.
As far as the other part, the best thing to do is take your Jeep to AutoZone, Checker, O'Reilly, etc... and have them scan the computer. It's free of charge and it will show you what the problem is.
Without knowing any other syptoms, it's hard to guess at what the issue is, but it could be a MAF or MAP sensor, a needed tune-up, etc.
