Hi Bigdogg - welcome to the boards!

Your Wrangler originally came with three different sized tires on it. 215/75R15's (27.7" tall tire), 225/75R15 (28.3" tall tire) and 30 X 9.5R15's.

Since the Sport's came with a fair amount of plastic garb on it, you can't go up too much in tire size. 31" tires is about the max you'll fit on it, but you'll have to stay with a relatively narrow tire (9.5").

You could put a mild lift on it (body or suspension) and fit 33's under it, which would look reallllllly nice.

you will have to stay norrow because if you use the stock rims the backspacing will not allow a wider tire to clear the innerfinder and or suspension componets with steering at full lock...

Perfectly put JeepYJ

in other words though... they will rub like crazy and cause problems. [)]

you'll have to get a deeper offset then. Somethign that pull the rim away from the car further. If you don't, it will DEFINATELY rub.
