| have a 1950 willys, have 1956 flat six motor ready for the junk heap, need replacement motor, stock trans 3 spd still good as is the transfer case, do i need to replace the whole drive train in order to put in a decent power plant? and i am on a budget (says the wife) need easiest solution. also i believe that the original trans is a t-17, but how do i know for sure? could use some old time knowledge on this one.so far i have up graded everything except the steering and motor.help..weedwacker out |
