OK, I have a buddy that has an '89 YJ that we've put a 3.5" Fabtech lift on (nice kit by the way).
The Jeep will see VERY light off road use and is a daily driver for my buddy. The question is; does anyone know if the track bars can just be dumped all together on the rig? I'm curious to know if anyone has any experience with removing them all together, and what it was like to drive it on the street.
Thanks,
RW |

Yeah, it's a Fabtech lift w/ full military wrap.
We did exactly what you suggested, based on a friend's advice. We nuked the rear track bar and left in the front track bar and it rides very nicely.
thanks!
