| I'm getting close to 65000 mi. on my 05 Liberty Rocky Mountain. I'm a little paranoid about the ball joints, after hearing all the problems with them. I punched in the VIN#s on jeeps web site and it said no open recalls. Would there be a noise or vibration or some other symptom that would indicate they need replacing. Thank in advance |

| Yea, you would feel some "death wobble" from the front if there was a problem. Ball joint issues make themselves VERY well known. If there is NO recall on your rig, forget about it till you have an issue. Thats my opinion, Webby?? |

| thanks for the info. All seems good and tight no play and steering is good. I'm a little paranoid about it since I hear of so many ball joint problems on libertys. Thanks again |

Just keep a close eye on them, and check for excessive play every few months, and you'll be good to go.

| And when they DO go, be sure to just upgrade them. Dont have factory one's reinstalled. |
