| Not sure what you hope to gain with this swap. You will not pick up any usable power or torque increase and will actually see a bit less torque at lower RPM's. Plus that engine was never in a Wrangler and bell housing bolt pattern is wrong too. (if Dakota is a manual and Jeep is too you could adapt Dakota bell housing to your Wranglers tranny) If you have your heart set of a V6, I would adapt in a GM 4.3 and it would give you a noticeable usable power and torque increase. The 4.3 used same setup as a GM 350 (same block minus 2 cylinders) so there is a lot of parts out there for swap. One more thing, a AMC 304 or 360 (not a Dodge 360) will bolt up to current bell housing and would be a fairly easy swap too. (CJ even had a V8 option too in late 70's through early 80's) |

| I agree - the V6 Magnum should have been called the .22 caliber. ;) |

Even if it is, get another one, the Dodge V6 would be a down grade and not a easy swap either. |

You could always be a real hero, and put a Cadillac 512 in it. :)
Do that, and I'll put you in the magazine.
