i hear that the 4.0 and 258 have the same bellhousing the 4.0 is a replica of the 258 btw. so engine comp wiring harness and some kind of fuel pump either an in tank one out of a jeep or find and buy an electronic one that mounts to the frame rail. im gonna try and do this swap to a 77 cj-5 im tired of the 258.

probly 99 and down the ho 4.0 needs a different bellhousing i seen one in 4wd.coms catalog the 2000 doesnt have a dist its weird doesnt have the cap and wires thats about the only thing ive noticed so far i seen a 99 it had a dist cap and wires my 00 doesnt it has a common spark rail
