I recently (two days ago) bought my first jeep wrangler, a 99' manual 6cyl. wrangler. There is a small problem that i am not sure what it is. After the jeep sits for at least 30min. or so when i start my next drive within about two minutes it feels like the accelerator will give out and cut back in (when the clutch is fully out) and the jeep will jump as if you were to let the clutch out too fast. This will last for about 30-45 seconds and then it wont happen for the rest of the ride. This consistently happens every time i drive it after it sits for a while and never happens again throughout the ride. Any input is welcome.

Thanks, Ben

if i am understanding you you are saying that the jeep hesitates pretty bad after it has been sitting.......is this during acceleration? and if so i had a problem like that and it was the coil .....the 12v source wasn't sealing and moisture was getting in there and would only act up after it was ran and then stopped...

Yea it does it while accelerating only after it sits for a while and it will only happen once per ride then everything is fine. Thanks for your reply
