You can quite literally make it out of PVC tubing. There are so many bend radius' and elbow angle available you can fashion just about anything. The tubing will probably only set you back $10 to $20 (the stuff is really cheap) and you can use the thuck rubber dryer-vent tubing to hook it up to the engine intake.
Now don't laugh, but I've seen people use upside-down flower pots for the snokle tops, or you can just use a 90 degree elbow to do the top turn-out.
I've also seen people heat the outter end of the top 90 degree turnout, and then 'squish' it so that it looked more oval and gave a cleaner look. |
