I`ve had my `99 Durango for about three months and the driver`s seat (power adjustments) moves when I accelerate or brake...causing a clunking sound. The power adjustment mechanism is obviously not holding like it should and my dealer ordered a replacement. However, I`m wondering if this is a common problem with the power driver`s seat on the Durangos. The "clunk" sound as the seat moves to shifts in body weight drives me nuts...and shouldn`t be there on a vehicle the price of the Durango. Any thoughts or comments?

If your fat, loose weight. If not get rid of it and buy a Chevy. All Dodge's have lots of problems so if you keep it, might as well quit your job and become a mechanic. ------------ Barry Brown at 10/10/1999 12:15:34 AM

The problem with a chevy is they are way overpriced and they are always behind with there styling. I wanted a chevy but the salesmen, service and general managers are all a**holes. RAM TOUGH ------------ Anthony at 4/16/2002 10:40:57 AM
