| i have a `99 ram 1500 sport and i want to get a bigger tire/wheels on it, without lifts. the tires need to be all terrain `cause i do some offroading, can anyone give me suggetions on what kind of tire/wheel combination i should get? |

The only idea I have for any Dodge is to burn it. It would be more useful as firewood than as a truck. They're JUNK.

Mayor of Truckville is just a slogan!! Don't mouth off to me saying the Ram is better. Dodge is pathetic and will always be pathetic. Diddo for Ford. Chevy's and all GM's are the undisputed best NO MATTER WHAT!! Hemi shmemi!! Dodge quality hasn't improved (especially gas mileage). I'm right your wrong GM is the best end of story. Moron. |

My first truck was a 1980 Dodge 150. it was a good truck, and ran like it was brand new with 150000 miles on it, but looked like ass. My last truck was a chevy 1500-awesome truck, but needed an engine rebuild at 170000. The one i drive now is a 94 Dodge 1500-good truck, rides rough, and never and engine problem except it eats up a lot of gas and ignition caps and rotors. I'll go back to chevy next time.

Bought one of the new Ram’s when they first came out 4x4 with the 5.9.
This truck is awesome. 157,000 miles so far, including many miles towing the boat and no problems.
I drove Chevys for 20 years before I purchased this. They were an OK truck but really don’t compare to the Dodge.
I’ll be buying a new HD 2004 in September.
Ignore the trolling by the Assclown’s above.

Dude you are just makeing yourself look bad.Evidently you don't know anything about cars.All cars and trucks are gonna have problems,old or new.It's just a fact mechanical parts break, it's not poor craftmanship.If it's not your day , it's not your day.I've owned Chevy's before ,all pieces of crap.Except for the 65 stepside i put a 402 marine engine into.Ford's were better, strong running trucks and cars.Then i bought my first dodge, i was hooked.never had a problem with them.ANY OF THEM.But then again i don't abuse them and i know how to take care of them.By the way isn't that why you have a warranty for.Everybody has their preferences, don't run around badmouthing and acting like a 2 yearold.I am dodge loyal and i don;t badmouth anything.I may pick on my freinds about their trucks, but thats it.I know dodge has problems with tranny's, just like the duramax is the weakest diesel around.Dodge has the best diesel and Gas V-8 around.Ford is second, then Chevy.Chevy's power is right there with the foreign trucks.But witha few mods anything can be better.I prefer the new ram over them all, Brute power, torque, looks, and did i say POWER.I tow my race car all over, and my boat.My wife has horses and i travel all over.No problems.As for towing and all that stuff, i was comeing up the west virginia turn pike and blew past a chevy, I was towing my race car, total about4,000 lbs.That ram didn't break a sweat.So quit badmouthing and all this shit.If you don't like it go buy something else.Have a nice day.
