Hi guys
I'm new to the site, great site though, tonnes of info. I was just looking for some opinions though. I want to put a lift in my 05 1500 Ram. I just dont know which one to buy. I also would like to keep it affordable. I'd like to lift at least 4.5" if not more. I just dont know where to really begin, have researched a bunch of lift kits but unsure of which is really worth it.
Thanks a lot for any help! |

Hi Bob - You may want to look to Superlift for your 4.5" lift. They use very good components and their kits are pretty easy to install. I also like their ride quality too.
http://www.superlift.com/Catalog.asp?P=K375&V=111 - your kit will set you back $2,000 for a bare-bones setup, or you can spend some extra money for upgraded shocks, skid plates, etc. for about $2,600.
Rancho is also a great kit for that truck too. Unlike the days of old, Rancho has made a big turn-around with their suspension systems and they are of much higher quality. They'll cost about the same.
If you have a bit more money to spend, you can go with something like a Full Throttle setup, or a Fab Tech setup. They'll cost a bit more, but use only top-sholf components.
