I just wanted to check in and say hello. I'm from Tucson AZ and have been wheeling for several years. I started off with an 81 Toyota truck, had it stolen. Then I got an 83 Yota and sold it to buy a Jeep XJ. Wheeled the XJ for a while and decided to build more of a crawler so I picked up a beater Toyota pickup and started building until it looked like this. Thats a Bad ASS rig. No Rocks here, plan on going at the end of summer or early fall to the mountains here in VA. Bad ride and welcome to the forum!

You know it's going to be a good day when you get the milk to cereal ratio correct on the first bowl.

I just got this jeep, when I was younger I only just went mudding and would go down to the beaches of the Otter Banks NC. I have heard there are some decent trails in the mountains, I am going to make a run soon, I am just trying to get some gears and hopefully a rear locker at the least before then. If I do not get the gears or lockers I will at least get a winch. I do want to make a bunny run first really have no idea what it would be like actually driving up some rocks. My mom lives in Scottsdale I hope to fly out there this winter or early spring. Later Nick

Welcome to the boards. I have an 87 yoda pickup. it is slowly headed to look like yours. i just got done doing a straight axle swap. in another year i think it will be completly done.
