my last set of tires were 46mich xls. they are on rockwells.
now im back into one tons. (thinking about saving my back. |

The 39.5's will work well then. I've heard the smaller versions aren't as good on the rocks as SSR's, but the larger ones are pretty amazing. I watched a set in Tellico really work well, especially when the rocks were slimy with mud and water.

I'm considering the 39.5 IROKs as well. Are you going Bias ply or radial? I have heard arguments that the radials stick and conform better on the rocks, but that the Bias ply is allot tougher. Besides there is about a $50 difference in price. My money is gonna be on the Bias Ply for the sheer toughness. If I drove my Jeep on the street more I would definately go with the radial, but that's not the case anymore. |
