| I have an 89 F-250 that I push snow with and the other day out plowing i got it stuck and after i became unstuck and started driving their was a terrible sound in the front that sounds like i ran something over, when i take it out of four its not as bad but still makes a weird sound at about 10 mph, but when i unlock the hubs its fine any thoughts??? |

Take a look at Lincoln Continental parts from the backing plate out. I had to drill the axle housing ends from 1/2" to 5/8", but was using a Versaille housing to fit under a Jeep. RoamingRabbit44@cs.com

Looking for info on what Ford had rear disc brakes that will fit on 78 big Bronco. Would like to use all Ford parts so that future repairs dont require mail order parts. 9" with 5 on 5 1/2 bolt circle. randypoole@hotmail.com |

i had the same problem and it was because of the axle joint, i'm not sure if that helps but i had the same problem with the same truck... |
