Tom,
I know that there is a company out there that makes aftermarket products for your 4x4, although I can`t think of the name right now. Look for some write-ups on stuff like that in the future. BTW, if you want to get on the newsletter, just enter your email address to the left and press "include me".
Thanks!

I hear they`ve been selling fiberglass replacement tubs in Mexico for years. Not sure how you would go about finding one. If you find one in a junkyard you can probably pull the tub for around $500 or so.

The Sammy is very popular here in the Philippines. In fact you can still get brand new units today though they really havent changed since 1986. You can also get Fiberglass bodies here for about $900 plus freight of course. You`ll just have to use your existing side lights headlights etc... The bodies are exact replicas of the hard-top Sammy.

Thanks... Send to my E-mail please
jc whitney has a good selection of body lifts for two an four wheel drive trucks. there is also a company called off road unlimited that sells some two wheel drive lifts but i doubt they have one for your application. i would sugest you do a body lift. they are easier than the suspension but you will probly have to extend your shifter if you have a manual tranny.you cold probly do the whole lift for under a hundred dollars if you make your own bumper lift brackets. you can reach off road unlimited at offroad.4wdstore.com |

try John Baker in Wisconsin (don`t know the URL right off hand). He has springs for 1.5 and 3 inch front lift, and 2 inch rear lift. I used the 1.5 inch lift on my `92 and it rode much better (firmer, more controlled). Also gave room for larger tires. |
