My '85 F-150 4x4 has a problem that's got me!! Whenever I get the truck off of level, the engine quits....Doesen't matter if it's in 4 wheel or 2. Engine runs fine as long as the truck is sitting or running on a fairly level stretch, but the minute it crosses up the engine dies...Thought it was low on fuel & the fuel pump was bad..Changed fuel pump & filled it up to the top, still does it. The engine turns over heavy when I try to start crossed up & sounds like it's not getting fuel..pull it back to level & it starts right up..Oh yeah, 300 straight six runs great otherwise!!! Need some help to point me in the right direction to try to understand what's happening!! Thanks!!
