4x4 was working great until reciently. The light for High and Lo come on, but doesn't engauge. I have tried to roll reverse to engaug, no luck. When the 4x4 is off, the front drive shaft doesn't spin and the front drive axels turn. When in 4x4, the drive shaft turns and the drive axels spin. I don't know if my front transfer case is shot. I don't get noise when I put it in 4x4. It could be electrical or something else. I would like some sort of idea of what i can do before paying ford to try different things.

If you're in 4-wheel drive and the front drive shaft is engaged, and the axles are turning, then the problem lies within one of your hubs.
