daily driver w/ some mud & trail rides i would go w/ bfg mtrs.
trxus dont do really well in mud.(waste of monies i think. seem like show truck tires)
bfg will not wear as much to boggers, truxs & swampers. |

I would agree with Primetime... BFG mud terrains are great all-around tires. If you want to save a few bucks, You can go with a set of Bridgestone Duller MT's. We tested a set of these tires many, many years ago and we found them to be one of the toughest "standard" mud terrain tires we've tested. We ran them for nearly 5 years and tackled some really gnarly terrain... we actually ran those tires when Jody (our Tech Editor) and I did the very first Ultimate Adventure with Petersen's 4Wheel & Off Road magazine.
After that, we ran them as daily-driver tires and they lasted forever. They did better than average in the mud, and did superb on the trails and rocks. Anyhow, here's a REALLY old review we did of them: http://www.4x4review.com/products/tires/dueller.asp
There's my $0.02.

Well, then you're pretty much limted to All terrain tires then. Don't expect any performance in the mud though... they'll plug up with mud faster than you can imagine.
The Bridgestones were quieter than the BFG MT's when we tested them, but they were still a bit loud.

Our pleasure! I'll keep thinking about other tires that might do well, but for now, it's time to hit the sack.
