quick question because my shop book is mia (again)
changing a box on a '86 ford f-150 it's just the 4 bolts and tail lights?[?]and 3 more helpers
my son is giving me a better box from one of his projects and i don't remember whats all involved in swaping them out. |

yeah, the '86 F-150 is really straightforward. I swapped out an '86 years ago, and I think we had the whole thing done in under and hour. Just remember to disconnect the fuel hose and vent lines, along with the wiring harness that feeds the brake lights, turn signals, trailer wires and of course the fuel sending unit (I think that's attached to the bed).
