Has anyone experienced this? 97 Pathfinder 4x4 rear wheel moves in & out when I acelarate. Also as a result while dirving over 40MPH the vehicle rocks form side to side.

Yes, it's a commom problem for the 96+ R50. You will need to replace the bushings in the upper and lower rear control arms to fix the problem. There is also a bracket that must be affixed to prevent the problem from occuring again. You can go to www.4x4parts.com and do a search on their discussion board to get more detailed information such as part numbers and advice on fixing the problem. 4x4parts.com is geared specifically towards Nissan trucks and SUVs. My pathfinder was rocking like that in the front till i changed the strutes at 110.00 a piece i also noticed the rear shock top mounting bolt needed washers, and tighten till tight .
