One year ago, we bought a used 2001 Pathfinder with 20,000 km. We have since put on 5,000 km. This vehicle is in excellent shape...except for one problem which is driving me crazy. Whenever I put the car in motion or switch gears, there is a knock in the transmission. I have taken it into the Nissan dealer several times. They have replaced the bushings in the bars that support the rear axel. They also replaced the bolts that hold the bars and the gear box support. The problem has not changed and they now say that nothing is wrong with it. They assume the knocking is normal.

I look forward to any suggestions.

Thank you.

Cesar Alba Lima, PERU
