are you doing full hydro, or hydro assist?

PSC has a full hydro setup too. If your friend's rig is going to see ANY street driving at all, then don't bother with the full hydro setup. There's no return-to-center function with full hydro, and there is zero feedback through the steering wheel - both of which are pretty dangerous. I've driven them before, and frankly, I don't even like them. Unless your buddy is running 44" or bigger tires, it's just not necessary.

It's also not really needed, as hydro assist is more than powerful enough to steer even the biggest meats, if it's properly setup.

By the way - the best way to mount it is to mount the ram-cylinder end to the axle housing, the the piston end to the drag link.

Here's another article that we di about a year ago on the same setup, but on a different rig (a competition buggy that we sponsor). http://www.4x4review.com/products/suspension/PSC/hydroassist.asp

sounds good. I would still recommend doing hydraulic assist though.

if its a rock buggy, i go w full hydro. i loved mine. but, i was turning 39 w/ a locked front. it made the difference for me. one finger can turn them at idle.
