I have a 1964 Scout 80 with a 273 (la series) small block in it. I purchased the vehicle this way. It has a manual 3speed gearbox and has 4 wheel drive. The output of the transfer case is offset, which makes me suspect that it is a dana 18. The gearbox is worn out.

Does anyone know what MOPAR gearboxes hook up to a Dana 18 transfer case and an LA series bellhousing? I am looking for something with an overdrive.

Any help or opinions would be appreciated. Thanks.

Advanced Adaptors should be able to fix you up with something. I had a 78 scout about 20 years ago and it had a torque flight tranny in it from factory but a bell housing designed for IH engines.
