Here are some pics of a ride that Danny (Dan Pitts), Batch (my Feature Editor) and I went on.
We did a ride near our houses / shop to test some new products that we installed on our long-term test rig, the '05 Suz King Quad - http://www.4x4review.com/quads/suzuki/05-KingQuad.asp
The ride itself was pretty interesting. We had lots of forested trail rides as well as some good ol' romping in the mud in a construction area.
Mud Slinging:

Wheelie Action:

Some more wheelies:

Some jumping pics... - Picture came out pretty bad, but you get the idea. [)]

Danny winching my sorry butt out of a serious mud hole

I was soooo stuck, it required a snatch-block to winch me out.

... yes, that water stunk like holy hell!

Danny popping a nice wheelie over a log (nice to be fearless as a teenager)

| Great pic's guy's. Looks like getting stuck was fun too. Did I miss that jacket that was over the winch line when you were doing the unstuck thing ? |

It's that new translucent / transflexive winch-weight-anti-whip thingymajoober. - That's the highly technical term, in case you didn't pick it up. [)]
Admitedly, we didn't have anything to put over it. It was so hot, I was sweating like Mike Tyson in a spelling bee - hence, no jackets, coats, bulky parkas, sweaters or pull-overs. |

| I know, I sound like "Dad", don't I. Nothing like getting stuck, muddy and just plain having too much fun, just to have to face the dreaded "Clean up after math, eh". |

it's especially hard to clean up that new Suzuki KingQuad. There have got to be 100's of small nooks and crannies everywhere! It took three times longer to clean that quad than the other 3 we had with us.
But SOOOOOOOOOOOOO worth it! |

| We have to make plans to have a joint company quad ride/picnic for 4X4REVIEW & ATVProductTests in the near future. |

| Now THAT would be awesome! A fall ride would be nice... anywhere to meet in the middle? |

I will be a little tight for time this month. I start field testing the BRP-Outlander 800 next week or next. I will be leaving for England shortly after that for a week.
No time to have fun. I have to take a pic of the belt I blew up tonight, if I can find all the parts that is.
cheers you all
