I just bought a 2007 hawkeye atv for my wife. I own a 2007 brute force 750 with itp mudlite radial tires ( 14 inch ) if we are riding and my quad breaks down would the hawkeye have enough power to tow me back to the trailer? Thanks for you responses Mike M

Mike

Here are the towing specs: On the trail, Hawkeye is powered by a 299cc 4-stroke engine.

* 750 lb. towing capacity; You should be ok if you are not into too much of a pickle.

Carry a nice tow strap, and maybe invest in a winch for your wife's ATV.

You should be good to go without too many worries.

Patrick is right.

Based on my experience with the Hawkeye you should have no trouble pulling a Brute Force and rider back to camp. Towing capacities tend to be on the conservative side.

That said - if you are stuck in the soup you may have a bit of trouble. If you do a lot of mudding I would seriously suggest a winch for at least one of the machines. If money is an object (as it often is) you may want to throw a come-a-long in your kit.

I'm impressed. You're truly well informed and very intelligent. You wrote something that people could understand and made the subject intriguing for everyone. I'm saving this for future use.
