Thanks Rick, nice to meet you, My son Nate (14) daughter Micki (16) and I used to try and post on Military web pages, but we get openly attacked for doing so.
I served 33 years as a Tech in the USMC and worked on the M151 series since 1973.
I think that working on all the vehicles over the years gives me the right to do what I want with one...LOL
I have always dreamed of taking a stock M151 and applying modern technology to the design and see what I could come up with.
It's much easier to modify an old Willy's Overland Jeep then it is to remanufacture a M151 series Jeep.
We wanted to show the world that with proper modifications a M151 could be rebuilt as modern, fast and safe as any other Jeep on the road.
It has been fun trust me...LOL |
