What's the biggest tire I can fit on a Ford F250 Super Duty without lifting the truck? I just want to fill up the wheel wells some. I don't do any serious off-roading as this is my tow vehicle for my Jeep.
thanks,
JD |

I wouldn't go any bigger than a 30x9.50. If you go any bigger they might rub.

I put 315/16R75s on my 00' F-250 Diesel SD LB, my dad put the same on his '99 F-250 SD LB V-10. My wheels rubbed slightly, full left turn, on the plastic mud guard inside the well. A few plastic tie-raps to pull it back a little and no rub. My dad's actually rubs on the left spring in a sharp turn. Either truck would probably get contact in any serious off-roading while turning sharp...but my rig works fine until I can get a lift. Both trucks look great! Wheel wells filled without looking excessive. I saw a chart once that listed 3" lift minimum to 'guarantee' no rub with those size tires. I'm no expert but if you talk to some installation places they should know...

I'm sure you can find a 40" tire (or bigger) that will fit your stock wheel... Is that what you were asking, or are you asking what the largest tire is that you can fit on your truck?
