| Anybody know how to cancel the seat belt chime that chimes every other second before you buckle up. I know it is important to buckle up, but sometimes you are for a very short drive, to the mailbox and don't want to use the seatbelt. Anyone that knows what I am talking about and has done anything about it, please answer. Thanks |

You can take a peek at the receiver side of the seat belt (the part you put the belt into, that's bolted to the floor). There should be two wires going up into it. In some cars you can simply connect the two wires and make the switch think it's closed. If you want to get fancy, you can put a switch in the dash to turn that on and off.
