I have a 1999 Silverado with 39,000 miles. I got a noise when accelerating. The noise sounds like it's
coming from the lower part of the engine or the transmission. The noise is a gargling sound. It just
started a couple weeks ago and seems to be getting louder.
Any ideas?
Thanks.

Try visiting the dealer and let them check it out. If they say nothing is wrong go to a person that knows something about trucks and let the person check it out but be careful who you choose! |

check the u-joints.
Have you also checked fluid level in tranny? It is possible that it is low and the fluid is aerating and causing the noise. |

| Sounds overly simple, but also check that your lug nuts are tight. |
