I have an 87 toyota pickup 4x4. I need to replace the CV axles. I was wondering if anyone has suggetions on brands and any important information I should look at when checking out CV axles.

Hi Nathaniel - If you're staying with a stock system (e.g. not building an extreme 4x4) I'm a big fan of Federal-Mogul / Moog CV axles / boots. They seem to last longer than most, and given the complexity and cost of replacing them and the boots, makes the extra few bucks well worth it. That's my 2 cents. Rick
