| I have an 89 wrangler with the 258 engine and the 3 speed auto. I am trying to determine the rear axle ratio and also the ratios for the 3 speed Auto. I was not able to find a tag on the rear axle. After some reading, I think that the rear would have been stock from the factory at 3.73, but I am not sure. How about the vin number, could that be decoded to find out the reat axle ratio???? Any help would be appreciated. |
