03 4runners-
Anyone having vibration problems? Mine are still present, mainly in the steering wheel. Starts about 20mph. Wheels balanced 4 times and rims are getting scratched. Dealers no help.
Also, when truck is at idle, motor makes a throb/bounce type vibration about every 5 seconds. Anyone know what that is? If I sit still, I can feel it bounce the whole truck a little. |

I had the throb/bounce type vibration, They replaced the fuel injector and that fixed it.

Rob,
can you elaborate some on what yours was like? Was it at idle, in gear or neutral, while driving, etc)? How did they diagnose it and was it just one injector?

Hey George,
It occured at idle and when at a stop. The vehicle would stutter as if it was about to cut off. The service dept called the problem a cylinder misfire. They claimed the #3 injector was inoperable and they replaced it. Hope this helps.
