  • 1974 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ40
  • Engine: 383 stroker, Holley Stealth Ram MultiPoint Fuel Injection, Balanced Lunati rotating assembly, Aluminum 2.02 heads. HP = 375 Torque = 375 lb/ft
  • Trans: Turbo 350 w/ reverse manual valve body
  • T-case: Dana 300 w/twin stick conversion and 4.0:1 gears
  • Front Axle: Dana 44 w/4340 Chromoly axles, Detroit Electrac locker
  • Rear Axle: Ford 9" w/4340 Chromoly axles, Detroit locker
  • Suspension: Spring-under leafs (for now) - OME Dakar springs

Man that is such a sweet rig. I wish mine looked as put together as yours, lol. Looks like it came from the factory looking like that (and the motor!!) You deffinately did an awsome quality job on that beast. Wish I could see that thing in person, must be an absolute blast driving.

Thanks ChevyMan!!! Appreciate the compliments. It's been a labor of love, but when you start looking closely, you'll see ripples in the body where it's been rolled a few times. Oh well... I kind of like it that way - shows that I really wheel it! :)

Hell yea man. Nothin like have the scars to prove it! Maybe next summer I will get my rig as dialed in as yours. That is something I am deffinately striving for with it. I want to dovetail the bed and maybe the front, then do some tube doors and take it to MAACO for a quick shot o yeller. I think I have come to terms that the body will never stay straight up here. Not with the trees and all that stuff that gets in the way, lol.
