Hi Xingu - You're pretty much stuck with an Old Man Emu lift for your '06 Pathfinder. The older generation pathfinders have lifts available, but not the newer ones.
For what it's worth, I've been testing 4-wheel drive parts for over 10 years now, and I think that OME is one of the finest lift kits available on the market. They're conservative by design, but the overall build quality is second to none.
As far as shock absorbers go, the sky is the limit. You can use shocks from just about any manufacturer.
Regards,
Rick |

Yeah, I know... that's why I said "You're pretty much stuck with an Old Man Emu lift for your '06 Pathfinder".
OME is the same thing as Old Man Emu (that's what OME stands for).
If you're dead set against OME, then you can go with the Rancho quick lift, but that doesn't include repalcement springs and such.
The bottom line - there isn't much aftermarket support for your Pathfinder.
