Hmmmm.... ANY VEHICLE at all huh? Sky's the limit? Anything I want...

I'd have to say a Defender 90

Chassis: - Stretched to 104" at the wheelbase. - LS1 engine - 700R4 trans - Stak 3-speed t-case - Unimog portal axles front and rear - 4-link Coil-over suspension (King or Sway-away of course)at the rear - 3-link coil-over suspension (King or Sway-away of course)at the front - PSC Hydraulic assist ram - Walker Evan or Allied Rock Crusher aluminum beadlock rims - 37" BFG Comp M/T's

Interior - Air conditioning for the hot days - Nice sound system with a DVD entertainment system at the head unit - Bared suspension or reclining Recarro bucket seats up front - Full custom-cage tied into the frame - Tuffy storage system (s)

Misc: - On board air compressor - Hot water system - PIAA HID off-road lights - LED rope undercarriage lighting system - On-board welder

Can't think of anything more at this point, but that should get the juices flowing. :)

Why not... Petersen's 4Wheel & Off Road Magazine shoehorned a new Cummins T-Diesel in one! :) Talk about your tight fits!

for me, I have already started building my dream rig. Some of you already know about it...but if I could change a few things.....

Base Truck: Chevy K10 Shortbed, born July 8th 1984 (just so happens to be my birthday ironicly).

Motor: I love GM, BUT..A Cummins would be tits, decked out with an entire Banks setup including short stacks painted black with chrome heat shields.

Transmission: SM465

Transfercase(s): 205/203

Drive shafts: Custom with all OX joints (trust me, I'll need em). With slip yoke removal kit.

Axles: I am actually still a fan of the Corporate 14BFF and Dana 60, with beefed up CroMo inards with 5:72 gears and ARBs front and rear with line loks. Disc brakes on the rear. Stainless brake lines.

Suspension: Full coilover front and rear. 4 link rear, 3 link front. King coilovers, with kevlar limiting straps.

Chassis: fully boxed...never expect any less....

Body: dovetailed front and rear (I want to keep all the lights...)

Interior: Recaro seats full inner cage (or exo cage is sweet too). Polished aluminum custom dash with all Autometer gauges. Nice Grant steering wheel (with the "nitrus buttons" one for aux lights, one for PROPANE baby!!!! 4point Simpson belts. B&M shifter to be sure. Tuffy boxes. Kickin stereo (nice deck, subs, amp, 6inch speakers, l.e.d lighting, line Xed interior, Fire extinguisher, 1st aid kit etc.

Paint: Flat black with "true flames", no chrome.

Extras: HID lights, 10,000LB winches front and rear. Onboard air and welder, tons o tools, 2 seats in the bed with good belts and helmits, built in cooler, oh yea...fuel cell recessed into bed. And I am absolutely sure that there is so much more, that I just cant put it all down right now, but you get the jist.

Nice... VERY nice!!!

Why not go for a Stak 4X4 3-speed t-case, or the new Orion T-case from Atlas though? After all... money is no object, right? :)

P.S. - you're near and dear to my heart when you said "NO CHROME"!!!! I was actually going to get a vanity plate that said NOKROME but never did do it.

Thanks Webby, I actually agree with you on the transfercase issue. I guess I was still thinking within the realm of reason...lol. And if you are like me on the chrome thing...wait till you see my beast. I cannot wait to finish the dang thing. It has been taking alot longer than I'd like....but that is the way it is. For the love of it, right? My goal is by the end of spring to be done with it. (like it will ever be finished...hahahahahhahahaha). But I will get some transformation pics on here soon.

I can relate - I've been gutting the interior of one of our project vehicles, the '74 FJ40.

We're going to do a series of articles on it, testing some new products, doing some tech articles and so on. Here's one of the items that we've been working on...

The center console (lack of a better term) isn't done yet... still have to mount the cable-operated twin stick for the t-case, and a few other things.

The dash is going to get ripped out too, and done similarly as the center console, except we're going to be installing (and reviewing) something rather exceptional (can't let the cat out of the bag too early). [)]

Anyhow, these things always take longer than we'd like, so I can certainly relate!

Sweet! That looks awsome. That is pretty similar to what I had in mind for a console too. Cant wait to see what else you guys do with it. The interior is still far away for me...I cant wait to do it though. Right now, I am trying to decide on my transmission and transfer case combo. Plus I have gears to do...yadayada. Got any 5:13s for a C14BFF and D60 combo?? lol

Haha, that would be pretty cool though. Do some kind of offroad trip article in Alaska. Though, it might take me a bit longer and a bit more work getting my truck ready this summer now. I fired it up for the first time this winter, and the air filter stud fell into my carb and went into the NO 7 cylinder and cracked the cylinder. And cracked the piston in 5 places. This is the brand new motor I JUST built this fall. Sooo....now I have to build another motor. Oh well, good thing money grows on trees.... lol.

Imported cars like MAZDA MX-5 MIATA...

This sports car is not just fun, but affordable. At about half the price of the Porsche Boxster, the Mazda MX-5 Miata beat out its close competitor. It contains fast and precise steering, balanced handling and easy-shifting six-speed manual transmission.
