All Around Tires - Bridgestone Dueler A/T Revo Tires

In an effort to find the best all around tire for our Chevrolet Z-71 4x4 we happened across the new Bridgestone Dueler A/T Revo tires. Our Chevy Z-71 truck is used for a multitude of tasks, these include: hunting, fishing, camping, towing, and daily driver. With these varied duties, we needed a tire that could stand up to rough rocky trails, and still be civil enough to be driven to and from work.

While the Dueler series has been around quite some time, the new Revo series offers a little more refinement to an already great tire. A few of the unique features of the Dueler A/T Revo are, a dual layer tread, which allows the tire to consistently grip the road even as the tire gets older and begins to wear. Another innovative feature of the Revo is a Hydro Evacuation Surface on the tire; this efficiently channels water away from the center of the tire, thereby almost eliminating hydroplaning. The new Dueler Revo also features a full spiral wrap of the tire, this continuous wrap of nylon around the tire creates better uniformity and helps the tire hold its shape increasing it lifespan.

The new Revo tread pattern and additional siping create a quieter, smoother tire for street use. The all-terrain pattern of the tire still offers enough open voids to handle all but the harshest off road driving. The generous siping across the full width of the tire lends itself well to shedding water quickly during our Arizona monsoon season. The new Bridgestone Revo is by no means a mud tire, but for light trail duties on a mostly stock truck, the new Bridgestone Dueler A/T Revo is a perfect match.
